As a French English Scottish Irish Quaker whose families also immigrated — due to religious persecution, I applaud this so-NewYorkCity happening.
(My ancestors were part of a religious freedom march in the 1690s & fled arrest. Go figure. Their descendants also protest govt persecutions.)
