It’s day one after the high school semester ended.

Ginger snaps and cider for dinner. Or cider and ginger snaps. Whatever.

Not really sure of the correct order when you’re doing booze and cookies for dinner…

Don’t judge.

Admin said I needed to submit plans for next semester before I leave for winter break.

My plans for next semester so far:

3 concerts - Meshell Ndegeocello, Gregory Porter, and Jackson Wang

2 shows - Six and Hell’s Kitchen

I’m good, right?

Look at this graph.

The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened.

This is why we must build back union power.

Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.
