This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.

One argument I used to make to my students about why it was important to learn history (and historical thinking) is that someone was always going to be trying to tell you things were natural or had always been this way and that you needed to be able to see that as an exercise of power.

Millions of lives annually, globally. (50%+ reduction in deaths, almost definitely)
People lose their minds about this but it would save literally thousands of lives.

Today, I spoke with Kilmar Abrego Garcia and his wife, Jennifer. In April, when I met with him in El Salvador, Trump said he would never set foot in the U.S. again.

This case has never been about one man alone; if the govt can violate the constitutional rights of one, all our rights are threatened.

Is it political violence when students get killed after JD Vance and Trump call universities the enemy of the people? Or is that just "tragedy" while only the murder of far-right advocates of violence like Charlie Kirk qualifies for political recognition?

Can you walk in public without the fear of masked secret police kidnapping you for not carrying a completely arbitrary quantity of legal documentation that proves your legitimacy as a citizen? Great question but the answer is still no.

In America, can you get cheap and easily accessible medical care? No.

Can you at least send your kid to a school between kindergarten through college without fear of them being murdered by a maligned lone wolf radicalized by fascist death cult internet culture? Also no.

If you're wondering what happened to Nate Silver, he was into the COVID lab leak theory and got negative feedback online, including from epidemiologists and virologists and (GASP!) posters, which added to his belief that The Woke are victimizing Nate Silver. It spiraled from there.

I'm not kidding.

And she made what RFK Jr. is doing possible.

She is drenched with the blood of the innocent.
I think people are trying to apply cultural scripts that don't fit the facts. Nuzzi isn't a victim of RFK or Lizza. She was the agent of the wrongdoing at play here and faced basically zero consequences (a year off, a book deal, a Vanity Fair gig). This isn't an Unfairly Maligned Woman story.

Going on an RFK stan's podcast to refute claims you're an RFK stan is wild
Nuzzi is straightforwardly lying here. Her book does not say a single word about RFK's career in public life. She has explicitly refused to discuss his record at HHS.

it's worth noting 1) that there's a longstanding tradition of trying to play solidarity against basic self-respect and 2) that the Combahee River Collective's coining of the term "identity politics" was directly in response to this
