one of the difficulties I had with this piece is severe lack of references, especially ones that show a person half way in the water, and the view being angled (not fully looking up)

Consequences are not cancel culture. They're just a new concept for parts of society, who have never actually had to deal with them before.

We're on the larger side for systems and that makes the imposter syndrome so much worse

In many ways it's hard to believe we've been diagnosed with DID and that it really does explain so much. But also, that denial is strong sometimes and imposter syndrome does not let up.
