Just a dude that likes videogames, but probably not nearly as much as he used to. 🤦‍♂️

Been doing walkthroughs and playthroughs on the internet for far too long: https://www.youtube.com/GameplayAndTalk

The latest version of my DOOM II wad, "Afflicted", is now up on Doomworld! This will probably be the last version for a while, if not ever. It consists of three slaughter maps along with a fourth "stopper" map that's all about secrets. Check it out here: www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/...

Life sucks. Just figured I'd give you that nugget of wisdom. Have a nice day.

Got the best ending on Castlevania: Dracula X for SNES! Very risky halfway through the game, so it gets tense when you are going for it.

Probably won’t be adding many, if any, SNES games to the collection after this. Nearing pretty much “done” in just about every aspect of my life, especially with video games.

There are few games I feel truly NEED a remake, but this is definitely one of them. I've been replaying it, and its still great, but just imagine a version where the camera wasn't SUPER zoomed in or out. A version that didn't have a loading screen for every transition or opening the menu.

Konami’s NES games are so good that they could’ve made a console that only plays those and it would’ve been one of the better consoles that gen.

Three years ago I took this photo after a bout of rejection. It sucked. Today, I sit in the same spot, three years to the day, under similar circumstances and similar weather conditions.

I hope this planet is hit by an asteroid. Humans suck.

Cleaning Avatar for the first time in many months. This is post-Novus 2, pre-wax. Also gave in to the fact my Ampsuit is a piece of trash. So I just tie-wrapped it back together. Whatever, no one except me is going to notice anyway. Everyone hates this game. 🤣

"What's the first web page archived in the Wayback Machine?"

We get that question all the time. There's no singular first page. There is, however, a first collection, and it's a really important one ⬇️
🧵 In 1996, the #Smithsonian 📜 partnered with the fledgling #InternetArchive 🏛️ to create Web Archive 96. A venerable institution & a digital pioneer joining forces to preserve the 1996 U.S. presidential election online.

This is a true story.
The best thing about the Internet is that anyone can distribute their art easily and cheaply.

The worst thing about the Internet is that every work of art is now competing for attention with every piece of art that has ever existed.
A huge problem for games today is they also have to compete with basically every game released in the last 10-12 years and are likely significantly cheaper now.

I’ve got Mario Kart World and the demo of Crossworlds, and I’m thinking everyone is underrating MKW: I was worried they’d focus too much on open world, but instead they skimped on the open world and delivered a great core MK game with a few new skills to learn. Maybe people are just MK’d out.
