Update: Our totally normal "lets toss a frisbee for our puppy because its sunny" day is going to cost us $7000.
Can life cut us a fucking break? Myla, our new 5 month old puppy, is at the emergency vet. She broke her growth plate in her knee and will need a (very expensive) surgery or she won't be able to use her leg.

As a die hard "The Guardian Legend" fan, just wanted to say, people who claim its a Blaster Master clone are wrong for 2 reasons:
1) It plays nothing like Blaster Master at all.
2) It literally came out BEFORE Blaster Master.
Anyway The Guardian Legend rules, you should play it.

The Guardian Legend on the NES had the most daunting password system for me and my 5 year old chicken scratch handwriting.
32 characters, uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation symbols. Those umlaut's ruined me.
Amazing password screen music though!

Stayed up to get to the tire place as soon as they open, and boy there is nothing quite like the combined smell of tires, coffee and burnt popcorn at 8 in the morning.
I was gonna make a joke about 2026 already gifting me a screw in my tire, but... in an effort to try to view this new year in a more positive light we'll just call this one last "fuck you" from 2025.

Finished Stranger Things. I wasn't thrilled with this season, but its also very surreal that its over.
There's definitelty some irony that, in the show that is built on nostalgia, it's left me feeling nostalgic for the earlier seasons as well. Overall, I enjoyed the world that was shown to us.
