"Arc Raiders is great BUT... I stand against using AI voices! 9/10"
And like, ya'll, if you want to take a stand, maybe don't give it a glowing, positive review with a "but" in it? Just say
"I don't play games that use AI slop. 0/10"

Wow. Google not only has me listed as the programmer and lead developer on the Symphony of the Night randomizer (not true), but THEN goes as far as to claim that I described myself as such on my YouTube channel (also not true)

There are few games I feel truly NEED a remake, but this is definitely one of them. I've been replaying it, and its still great, but just imagine a version where the camera wasn't SUPER zoomed in or out. A version that didn't have a loading screen for every transition or opening the menu.

This is the second time our power has gone out in a week.
Third time in a month.
Our electric bill is 2021 was $60 a month. It is now $240 and we don't even have power.
This is just me screaming to the void. So like, what's everyone playing video game wise?

We talk about how bad parasocial relationships are with content creators, but often overlook how much people idolize corporations because they made a game they enjoy.

So I've been playing Dragon Quest III HD-2D, and man...
I absolutely love random encounters. I've genuinely missed these in DQ games. Roaming the world searching for areas or secrets and wondering if you're going to survive makes the adventure THRILLING as opposed to just.. dodging enemies on a map

Playdate is a neat little handheld, but, I just can't bring myself to buy one. I was waiting for a price drop or sale since $179 for a niche handheld with a small library of games felt pretty high.
Then it went up to $199.
Then it went up to $229.
2 prices increases in 3 years is uh.. not great.

Man. I played Pokemon Z-A like ... three times and completely fell off. I really WANT to like it, but I feel like I'm just not seeing what everyone else is? Or like, I just get a COMPLETELY different joy from these games that's not present in this one?

Retro video game collecting is weird, man. The larger a "mom and pop" shop gets, the worse it gets. You start seeing outlandish or "rolling" prices (I hate this) on the games. The employees become almost like a clique, and it starts to feel super unwelcoming. Give me a hole in the wall shop any day.

Last year I started the first Trails game. Once I reached the ending, I immediately bought and played the sequel. I then played every game in the series, all 13 games.
Today I beat the remake of the first game, and its just as good (if a bit easier) than the original. Such an awesome series, man.
