I started this series last year. Played all 13 games in a row (amazing, btw) and then recently played the remake of 1st.
Love that I'm essentially going to play the whole series twice, but its so good that it just feels right to do haha.

He definitely falls into category of people I completely forget that exist until they come out and do or say something stupid

One of my favorite winter activities is driving up Mt Hood to the Timberline Lodge (AKA The Shining Hotel) and getting a hot chocolate when the snow is like 8 feet deep. Its just... such a good vibe.

The flaws with this game aren't due to game DESIGN, but due to the fact that you can tell the devs had very little experience working on a Playstation game. It looks, feels and plays like a PC game of the 90s. Its just poorly optimized is all.
And fun fact: Legacy of Kain PREDATES Diablo!

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain will be 30 years old next year. Insane to think about. It has some of the best voice acting of a game from that era, even if the audio is compressed to hell.
Its an amazing experience and if it was remade it'd HAVE to be done right, and not just turned into generic action

On that note, this 100% has nothing to do woth the actual DEVS who work there. These decisions are always from the higher ups to appease shareholders. Its totally fine to respect the developers and art they've made, they're not at fault for the decisions of the people in charge. Just sucks to see.
