Holy shit, we just got a big donation from a generous contributor, putting Team Alf way up the board, so we're moving the goalposts out to $30,000. $30,000 to help address the shortfall left by SNAP. Can we get there tonight?

Yesterday we visited Green Mountain Falls, CO to visit the kinetic sculpture Off the Beaten Path by Patrick Shearn. I wasn’t ready for just how dynamic it was even in the slightest breeze. Reminds me of a murmuration of starlings. Incredible artwork. It’ll only be up through October 19th.

A new type of vaccine based on mRNA technology is seen by many as a potential breakthrough in the fight against cancer.

We sat down with oncologist Lennard Lee to discuss why he hopes these vaccines will prove to be the “silver lining of the pandemic.”
