Occasional vocal portrayer of Swing, Jazz and interesting pop standards. Fairness. Socialism. Internationalism. Celtic FC remains a lifelong passion.
Sports’ psychology by Mr S Clarke. Lesson 531. How not to do it. Hope the lad his a good support network. He deserves better than this crap.

Oh good, that’ll be 3 plastic pitches in the Scottish Premiership next season. Embarrassing tinpot stuff again.

The difference that the returning Callum McGregor made today was remarkable. Good, solid three points on a horrible day. Why does Craig Gordon always go radge about at least one of the many goals he concedes at Celtic Park? Does he have issues? PS.. I hate Scottish weather #Celtic #CELHEA

That was a shame for #Atletico being eliminated from the Champions League in the most agonising of circumstances once again by their city rivals in their ain midden. Feel for that gentleman of the game, Senor Simeone. 😂😂😂 51 years later. Still unforgiven. From an unrepentant bitter auld Tim: GIRUY.

They should go on strike for better terms & conditions. I’m sure all the right-wing gobshites clutching their pearls about VAT will be right behind them…
Private school teachers say they are taking second jobs because schools are using the introduction of VAT on school fees to freeze salaries, according to a survey by the biggest teaching union ⬇️

Does this mean that Derek McInnes gets to pick both teams on Wednesday night at Rugby Park? That could never happen eh?

#Celtic a joy to watch tonight. Much more like it. Played some terrific stuff. Great all round team performance, and #Engels best game for us by a mile. #Daizen is a phenomenon! What a season he’s having for us. 👍🏼🍀6️⃣

Ah! Denis. One of my old non- Celtic heroes. A bona fide Scottish football legend. Skilful, fearless, brilliant. The old guard sadly all passing on now. Memories remain. RIP Denis. 🙏🏼⚽️

CalMac’s leadership and experience will be vital in the #UCL tie against YB next week. For that reason, he surely has to be rested at the weekend. Scottish Cup or not. Punishing recent schedule taking its toll. Especially at his age. Signs of fatigue last night alarming. #Celtic

President Jimmy Carter has passed away at the age of 100. He was a symbol of what is best about America: kindness, compassion, duty and service. He will be missed, most of all by those who long for a return of that kind of country, led by a man with such strength of character.

Should we expect a statement from Motherwell FC over the next fortnight or so about ‘clubs benefiting’. Asking for the whole of Europe.

Does that result make St Mirren yet another club that has benefited?

Two plastic pitch outfits now sitting at the top of the #SPFL Championship. Ban doesn’t come into effect until 2026. Good old Scottish fitba’ - always giving the paying punters something to look forward to.
