Occasional vocal portrayer of Swing, Jazz and interesting pop standards. Fairness. Socialism. Internationalism. Celtic FC remains a lifelong passion.
Just my view my friend. We’ll see how it plays out. Enjoy the game today.

I generally welcome optimism. So fair play you on that score David. But those of us who can’t see the comparisons with Tony Mowbray’s ill-fated tenure, either weren’t there, or are being deliberately blind to it. Add the influence of the clown who identified WN as a suitable fit. Not for me. Sorry,

Eloquently and accurately put Sir. Hurrah!

We “just couldn’t get it over the line”. Rinse and repeat. It’s what we do.

Look at the make-up of the Celtic PLC Board, and ask yourself what the chances are of us refusing to play Maccabi Tel Aviv. More likely that UEFA would arrange keeping the two teams apart.

Liverpool v Wimbledon eh? You saw that one coming.

Sadly, in this column, Ewan offers no potential solutions. It’s not that difficult. It’s about money and the share thereof, which has led to a smaller top league. Just for starters. Also fails to recognise that non-Glasgow clubs aren’t blameless. An old tutor would write: “the conclusion needs work”

Like his successor Evan Williams.

I knew Ronnie played for Queens Park. Which was the other Glasgow team?

Flag Day 1969. Celtic 2 St Johnstone 2. Lisbon hero Stevie Chalmers scoring the first ever Celtic goal I saw in the flesh.

I’m unsurprised at this latest piece of Daily Mail-esque claptrap from Starmer. And I lost all faith in the Labour Party some time ago. But still I despair at the sheer dishonesty of it all. The political future does not appear bright in this corner of the world right now.

Nowadays we’d have to wait on the VAR check and pause the mayhem!

Yep 👍🏼 one of the best.

This photo really sums up the great direct connection that the players used to have with the fans back then. 4 first team players and the Assistant Manager making the effort to attend a supporters function. And as Tommy Burns once said: they would never have been better looked after. Good times.

North Stand Lower in the swirling wind and rain is a feckin miserable experience.
