I'm a dairy farmer. Checking the weather and forecast is the 1st thing I do each morning. Farmers rely on NOAA and NWS as we select varieties to plant and plan our field operations. Forecasts are critical as we try to figure out when to cut hay, which needs 2-4 days of drying before we can bale it.
