Got an unexpected opportunity to go out as me tonight. Always this mix of excitement and nerves. I can’t imagine transitioning at a younger age; my anxiety and depression are off the charts.

My in-laws grew up in the thick of it: LES in the 70s. St. Marks. Studio 54. My FiL dated a mafia don’s granddaughter.
They hated it!
Some fun stories but it was a dangerous place to be. They couldn’t wait to move out. They were house poor for 30 years because that was a better alternative.

After really struggling to build IRL trans community, I'm going to THREE IRL trans gatherings next week! Could not be more excited. I'm not gonna stress about making connections but it will just be a relief to talk to people who have been and are going through it.

This is what irks me most about the conversation around Epstein "conspiracies": the girls he got in Florida were from the proverbial Wrong Side of the Tracks in West Palm. They were poor and desperate and ALL of society, not just predators like Epstein, takes advantage of poor, desperate girls.
A lot of this just makes me depressed about how disposable girls and women are tbh

I like Rachel Sennott as a performer — and I find her incredibly, incredibly sexy — but her show does not look appealing at all. I wanted to like it but the trailer alone turned me off and the reviews are tepid.
Her wheelhouse feels like 90-100 min comedies mixed with the good drama work she does.
