George HW Bush marveled at a new kind of grocery scanner in 1992 and was pilloried for being out of touch.

Trump — who’s repeatedly said you need to show photo ID buying food — now insists “groceries” is some obscure term he recovered from the distant past and we’ll just move right along.

So I was on a flight into DCA tonight when we had to abruptly abort our landing because, the captain said, another smaller, slower craft had been routed directly in our path. Flight logs show we were just 200 feet above the ground.

This is the point I keep explaining to people outside of DC that really makes their jaws drop.
People also need to understand this isn’t federal money, this is DC money collected through DC taxes. They’re openly stealing from the city with the intent to immiserate the people living there because they resent the idea they should be allowed to govern themselves.
