Just stick to bash and use Miller 😶‍🌫️: miller.readthedocs.io/en/6.13.0/10... Miller (mlr) is a supercharged awk, but for CSVs with its own DSL - like jq.

I use it for quick analyses when I don't need to fire up Python/R.
