Just stick to bash and use Miller 😶🌫️: miller.readthedocs.io/en/6.13.0/10... Miller (mlr) is a supercharged awk, but for CSVs with its own DSL - like jq.
I use it for quick analyses when I don't need to fire up Python/R.

Just stick to bash and use Miller 😶🌫️: miller.readthedocs.io/en/6.13.0/10... Miller (mlr) is a supercharged awk, but for CSVs with its own DSL - like jq.

Little known fact: Bonferroni correction in #statistics is due to Olive Jean Dun 👩🔬 (Ann. Math. Statist. 30 (1) 192 - 197, 1959), a late professor at UCLA. She used Bonferroni's inequality to adjust confidence intervals!
