Bingo. I think this is largely why I'm not completely losing it. The US is going back to its origins.
Flip your center in US history from white people to Black and Indigenous people, look at the Exclusion Acts, and understand the US isn't sliding towards fascism. It is reverting to its original state. And your utopian dreams about European comfort, freedom, etc? Yeah, take a harder look.

In Samantha Goldman's "Refuse Fascism" podcast she does something that Rush Limbaugh 💩 did very effectively (e.g., he never said "environmental" w/o saying "wacko"). She joined "MAGA" with the word "fascist" creating the term "Magafascist." Henceforth we should never say MAGA w/o the descriptor.
