And I was right. They’re everywhere.

Apparently it’s a crime to remind military members to follow the law and refuse illegal orders (something that it is ingrained in basic) and the pentagon can recall you into the service to discipline you. However, the pentagon will not prosecute you for dodging the draft five times.

If you need proof that when Reform UK politicians wave the 🇬🇧Union Flag🇬🇧, it's not patriotism, it's just manipulation.

An update on this: today's More in Common has no change in Reform score. That fits with this trend as the five most recent More in Common results for Reform have been:

33 (oldest)
31
31
30
30 (newest)
Change in Reform rating between latest and previous poll from each pollster in recent polls:

YouGov -2
Opinium -1
Find Out Now -1
Focaldata -2
More in Common -1
Lord Ashcroft -3
Freshwater -3
JL Partners -1
Ipsos -1

This is starting to look like a trend...

Europe’s leaders are trying to nail down their plans to back up Ukraine with multinational military force if the country manages to land a peace deal with Russia.
As potential deal looms, France and Britain map out boots-on-ground role in Ukraine
Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday announced a new joint task-force — with U.S. buy-in — aiming at “finalized security guarantees” if a peace deal lands.

you joined, you upgraded, you wrote kind words.
You reminded me – hey, girl, you’re not alone in this.

I’m not asking for anything.
I just want to thank you.

BBC removes description of Donald Trump as "the most openly corrupt president in American history" from the broadcast today of Rutger Bregman's Reith Lecture. I was among the several hundred people to hear the original at the lecture theatre
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Bossy headline from The Times letting Farage insist his “Hitler was right” racism was just ‘banter’.
If that were true, his politics now would be different and he’d apologise. He’s defensive because this is what he is and always has been and he’s angry with us for knowing that and for minding.
