There are 47 non-Rs in the Senate. Each one needs to do this in succession.
Disruption is all they seem to understand—so that’s exactly what they’re getting. For 14 hours, @booker.senate.gov has been on the Senate floor, speaking truth within the rules. This cannot be business as usual when our democracy’s on the line. Thank you, senator.

I’m so happy to see this. It’s about time someone in the Senate realizes that politics as usual isn’t going to get us out of this disastrous mess.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.
