We will be properly honouring ‘Daniel Hannan Day’ on Tuesday with all the requisite pomp, circumstance & documentary evidence of what an irredeemable arse he is that you would expect. Elevating our world’s wrongest man to the House of Lords will always be the essence of Brexit.
Do join us…
24 June 2025 is this Tuesday coming.
There's still time.
Don't stop Beleaving.

Next time Starmer and Reeves say there's too much regulation, remember this.
This is what a deregulated economy looks like, and we all pay for it, with our health, our ecosystems and, eventually - when the massive clean-up / land abandonment bill can no longer be avoided - our wallets.
A gobsmacking story. Water companies let toxic waste disposers, for cash, dump their loads into sewage farms. The sewage sludge is then spread, untested, on farmland, potentially poisoning vast areas, entire ecosystems and the people (you and me) eating the food.

What’s in the millions of tonnes of sludge sprayed on to farmland? The answer won’t make you happy | George Monbiot
Thanks to breathtaking negligence, the liquid fertiliser used to help grow our food bubbles with a lethal cocktail of toxins, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Twitter posts no longer have timestamps. That's exactly what you want on a network built on being a realtime information source. Possibly the worst to ever do it in social media

I can't believe this needs to be said but:

You do not owe it to anyone to spend the next four years on a social media website you hate, getting abused by algorithmically boosted Nazis, just because some Democratic consultant thinks a swing voter in Pennsylvania might see your tweets.

I mean this obviously can't stand. You can't have a foreign extremist, who used social media to encourage & facilitate far-right violence, plough huge donations to his favoured British political party.

John Prescott used to say “when I die all they’ll go on about is that bloody punch!” Well no, they went on about a whole lot more. I did a dozen or so interviews paying tribute today and it was so nice to hear so many recalling him so fondly and recognising his enormous achievers and character
