Obama: Joe Biden sent you a check during the pandemic, just like I gave people relief during the great recession. The thing is, we didn't put our names on it, because it wasn't about feeding our egos.

I appreciate that people are asking the question using this terminology and it is notable. we need to think about the threat of what "mass deportation" means. At the same time, how much different is this actually from things that have already happened under both parties?
Good to know 47% of this country is ok with opening up concentration camps. If you ever wondered how genocides happen, this is it right here.

PRIVACY: Bluesky is fundamentally an open and public network, and your posts are public data. But you can make them a *little* less public by flipping this switch under Settings > Moderation. It forces Bluesky app users to log in to view your posts (and you're less likely to show up in searches). 🧵
