I know everything's on fire right now, but this needs to be a much bigger deal than it is.
If this is how the US farm sector is rolling- along with other issues like forbidding poultry farms from vaccinating flocks against bird flu- we're looking at a recipe for some hunger times.

There's no mention of this on Labour's FB page. Greens and Te Pāti Māori haven't mentioned it. Our opposition parties need to be more vocal on this undemocratic decision.

The correspondence, released under the OIA, reveals:
- Compass failed 53% of the 38 meals assessments the ministry conducted in the second half of 2023
- Libelle lost 60% of the schools on its books since 2021. It went from delivering lunches to 196 schools down to 79 in Sept. 2024.

Ōtautahi Pride had a massive volunteer marshal turnout - they had 40+ high vis vests and ran out FAST. Whole communities independently turned out - builders, punks, metalheads. The crowd were defiant. No one could hear a word of what Destiny were saying.
