game overs and runbacks will naturally frustrate ppl more than a light tap on the shoulder, but i do personally prefer design that lends itself to teaching ppl how to play and develop a relationship with controlling well. i wonder if there's a better way to balance these values in games 🤷♀️

One of the major things that hit me like a goddamn train is how different from the rest of Metroid this game actually is. I asked my friend after getting the Morph Ball "hey, can you crouch in this game???" and when I heard the answer was *no,* I lost my shit.
