I've been saying this since the big AI push started, if you didn't bother to spend time making it, why should I spend my time looking at it? Why is my time so much less valuable than yours? If you don't value the work that went into it, I'm not going to either. You're disrespecting me and my time.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Finding out a game used AI is upsetting because you are lying to me about the work you did on your game, and you're lying because you know that using AI is bullshit and no one wants it, you know you're trying to get one over on me, to make me waste my time on something you didn't put time into.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

Really you would think that post-AIDS crisis that the gay community would understand the importance of solidarity and why being left on your own is bad but apparently some lessons can't be taught to some people.
The appalling thing about the “LGB Without the T” gays isn’t just that they abandoned the most unfairly demonized people now when all of our support is so needed but that they still pat themselves on the back for being out-and-proud freedom fighters
