The homicidal Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to Washington has been a disgrace to American democracy.

Trump’s thoughts on the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi: “things happen.” What he said about the epidemic of human rights violations in Saudi Arabia: nothing.

Remember: The recipe for economic growth isn’t tax cuts for the rich. It’s investment in our people — in health care, infrastructure and education — to build a strong middle class.

You don't grow the economy through trickle-down nonsense.

The OBR blunder was embarrassing. But the budget speech was pretty good, all things considered. The Badenoch response was nasty and spiteful. She really does reflect where modern Tory party is today and it ain't pleasant.

This is very good indeed on how Mahmood talks about race. To suggest that immigration policy and racism are linked "reflects this government’s biggest failing, which is that it is essentially incapable of saying that racism is wrong, full stop".

Today’s Labour Budget is about fairness. Our Labour values in practice.

Lifting nearly half a million children out of poverty paid for by a gambling levy, a tax on homes worth £2m, and closing tax loopholes.

We are Labour and we make different choices.

The policy, introduced under the Tories, means parents can only claim universal credit for their first two children.

Thats £4.72 per Council Tax paying household.

It could rise to £30m they are paying Newton. Thats £101 per household in Leicestershire.
