I love how I got a push notification from the NY Times for the mushy review of Olivia Nuzzi’s memoir but not for the president calling for Democrat politicians to be hanged

conservatives love to punish the tiny percent of people that they view as morally deficient, at the expense of literally everyone else
Markwayne Mullin: "Reward people for being healthy. Think about this. Healthcare is the only industry that you're not rewarded for taking care of your responsibility. If you think about homeowners insurance, if you're within 500 feet of a fire hydrant, your insurance goes down."
November 19, 2025 at 1:51 PM
so we’ll stop giving money to insurance companies and instead give people money to buy insurance…from the insurance companies. masterful gambit, sir
Trump: "THE ONLY HEALTHCARE I'LL SUPPORT OR APPROVE IS SENDING MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE W/ NOTHING GOING TO THE BIG, FAT, RICH INSURANCE COMPANIES, WHO HAVE RIPPED OFF AMERICA LONG ENOUGH. THE PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO NEGOTIATE & BUY THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, INSURANCE. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!"

Ghislaine Maxwell lied about Trump never going to Epstein's house (directly contradicted by her email correspondence with Epstein), and she was rewarded for that lie with a transfer to a cushier prison. The coverup is happening in plain sight.
November 12, 2025 at 7:32 PM
how exactly does this hoax work? did Dems somehow plant fake emails within the Epstein estate? I’m sure Dems were somehow behind Maxwell being moved to a posh prison earlier this year too
Leavitt on Epstein: "This is truly a manufactured hoax by the Democrat Party"

the guy doesn’t have a single redeemable quality and now we have mounting evidence that he’s a pedophile. really great that an entire political party and a huge swath of the country has hitched their cultish wagon to this
A direct email exchange from 2011 between Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, just released by House Oversight Committee Democrats.

A man pardoned by Donald Trump for his role in January 6th - he assaulted Capitol Police officers with bear spray & a metal whip - has avoided prison for child sex crimes because of the president’s sweeping pardon, despite pleading guilty to soliciting what he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex
Trump Pardon Lets Convicted Child Sex Predator Walk Free
Andrew Taake walked free because of Trump’s pardons, despite being convicted of a child sex crime.

the deal doesn’t even entail “working together” to solve any real problems! Senate Dems get a weak promise for only a *Senate* vote on the ACA subsidies and that’s about it. no problems have been solved, and more might even be created by an emboldened administration
Shaheen: "When I talk to my constituents in New Hampshire, you know what they say to me? They say, 'Why can't you all just work together to address the problems that are facing this country?'"

So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

he’s said this so many times over the years and it’s just as insane as the first time. you do not need an ID at the grocery store lol
Trump: "It's time for Republicans to do what they have to do and that's terminate the filibuster ... we should start tonight with 'the country's open, congratulations,' then we should pass voted ID, we should pass no mail in voting ... you go to a grocery store, you have to give ID."

the law plainly states that all furloughed workers get back pay, regardless of whether they worked during furlough or not. any framing of this issue that doesn’t take that into account is ceding power to the admin where it has none
Q: Does the administration guarantee that all furloughed federal workers will get back pay?

LEAVITT: This is something we are very much open to discussing with Democrats as part of the discussions about the continuing resolution

(That's not a yes!)
