Check out this @unesco.org video about antisemitism that I wrote and narrated. They gave me the brief: explain antisemitism in four minutes! I hope you find it useful, and please do share it with anyone who might benefit from it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZgD...

Never thought I'd have reason to praise Ted Cruz, but 👏. We all need to be better about calling out antisemitism in our own political tribes. The instinct is to only see it when it's the other team doing it, but that's not how antisemitism works and not how we'll fix it. forward.com/fast-forward...
Ted Cruz to Jewish Republicans: Antisemitism is ‘an existential crisis in our party’
“How many elected Republicans do you see standing up and calling this out?” Cruz said.

As someone who spent years filling in paperwork and paying countless thousands of pounds to acquire Indefinite Leave to Remain (and then eventually citizenship), it is horrifying to think that people who have done all of that may simply have their status revoked. This language needs to stop.
Hey, Labour, see, the thing is...once you set the standards (like being a Skilled Worker and paying a ton of money every three years), the right to stay actually IS automatic because we have met all the requirements the government has set for us.

You don't audition for settled status.
“We welcome those who come to this country, legally, and give more than they take. We believe the right to stay here must not be automatic, but that those who play their part should be able to earn that right."

Not for the first time Netanyahu prefers the global far right to the Jewish diaspora
This Israeli government decision to host Tommy Robinson will widen the growing gulf between the Netanyahu government and the British public, including the broad majority of Jews in Britain (3/4 of whom dsapproved of Netanyahu, before this new link to this anti-Muslim racist UK far right convict).

Which is to say: If you are suggesting that the attack was somehow deserved because all Jews support Israel, you're being antisemitic.

And if you think that the attack shows why the state of Israel is behaving as it is in Gaza, you are being awful.

The attack on the Manchester synagogue was antisemitic violence.

If you're talking about Israel (from any perspective) in conjunction with it, you're either being awful or antisemitic or both.

It's good to be on a platform where people express normal human empathy and dismay at the horrific synagogue attack rather than on one where they weaponise it for their grubby, divisive purposes and try to turn a tragedy into an opportunity

Really not sure why any British politician or UK government department is still posting on X. Closing all those accounts would be actual, and instant, "consequences".
I've written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage, urging them to join me in condemning Elon Musk's dangerous remarks inciting violence yesterday.

As leaders, we must stand together and make clear Musk will face serious consequences for these actions.

It’s amazing the mistakes you can make when you’ve never read a single thing about the history of antisemitism and have your head all the way up your arse
NatCon leader Yoram Hazony says he did not expect to see anti-semitism on the Right. I guess he somehow missed the pro-Trump “alt right” movement boosted by NatCon speaker Steve Bannon in 2016. 🙄 😡 1/ x.com/natcontalk/s...

It's good when people interviewing Reform politicians about mass deportations and consigning vulnerable people to torture and death don't just ask "How would this work?" but "Isn't this immoral?" Like, the main issue with concentration camps isn't the construction logistics

I didn't realise that John Boyne had ever done anything other than the atrocious Boy in Striped Pyjamas, but now I see that after being roundly criticised for writing a distortion about a subject he knew nothing about (Auschwitz), he thought to do the same thing, but this time with trans characters.
John Boyne is simply Graham Linehan with a career

If your concern for human life involves demanding that a Jewish person, famous or otherwise, "say it!" ("free Palestine" that is), you should know that you are more likely to bring about bodily harm to that Jewish person than any positive outcome for a Palestinian.

You can love Israel and hate the actions of its government.

You can care about Israelis and Palestinians.

You can call for the hostages to be freed and for a ceasefire.

Even when you feel hopeless, angry, and broken, you can choose to stay committed.

That’s where hope is born.
