Is that because better equipment/medicine costs more, better doctors cost more, or the improved care takes more time/labor? As in, are we actually paying for better care, or is medicine getting better (as it has over most of history) and costs happen to be rising at the same time?

People can have different political opinions about immigration policy. Political differences are fine, healthy for a democracy.

More niche: With immigration in particular, I think the positive case is important, because when people say we shouldn't restrict immigration because, e.g. this is stolen land, because it's sad, because what right do we have... there's an implicit claim that it's a burden we have to pick up.
