[Trump is] "potentially reaching an agreement with Canada this year to fortify its northern border."
Hmm, we'll get right on that after we finish fortifying our SOUTHERN border.
Trump's latest Western Hemisphere fixation: Canada
The president has intensified his criticism of Canada in private conversations with aides in recent weeks over what he sees as the country's vulnerability to U.S. adversaries in the Arctic.

US negociaters want four things from Canada, apparently.
Let's give them the first two: full access to our market for their dairy and alcohol. Then let's not buy ANY of it, ever.
If you see a friend buying US products, offer them $10 "until things turn around for you."

What the US wants from Canada to keep free trade in place
Dairy, alcohol and a law regulating how much Canadian content is promoted by Netflix are among the main issues the US wants resolved.

Most Canadians vote in person on election day (today).
Trump had to keep his trap shut *one more day* if he wanted to help the Conservatives. But.. he couldn't.
This will cost the Conservatives votes, maybe a LOT of votes. It's a poisonous endorsement.
Trump trolls Canada on Election Day
As Canadians vote, the president revives "51st state" rhetoric.

This is where we're at. A middle-of-the-road Canadian candidate for PM - a lifelong central banker - does a speech where he says (not for the first time) that the US wants to break Canada so that they can own us.
That's the new mainstream opinion in Canada. Wow.

Canadian here.
My investments are largely in Canada, or cash or gold.
Tomorrow I'm looking forward to a truly catastrophic US stock market decline.
Is 10% not enough? Do Americans need 20% before they realize they f*ked up?
Happy Monday. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

People are changing the labels on Wayne G's wine: "a merlot that is sad and 2 faced" "as weak as the name-sakes moral fibre."
There is a reason why Canadians dominate comedy - we are wickedly funny.

As a Canadian, I wanted to express my deep gratitude for the help Elon Musk is providing us during this difficult time. The US administration clearly wants to annex us.
But Elon is running around Inside The Administration with a chainsaw, eviscerating their government.
Thanks for your service.
