On a walk a few years ago the views were glorious in the snow which got ever deeper the higher we went. We started off in Kettlewell where there was no snow. Looking back along the valley through a wooden gate with dry stone walls on both sides. The sky is dark with the occasional breakthrough of sun. 🥾

St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall is a place I really love and so do many others as you can see by the people walking along the causeway. It is an island topped with a castle which can only be reached by boat except when the tide is out. The castle is surrounded by beautiful botanical gardens.
