The submerged wooden jetty is as a result of the amount of rain recently.

#ourworldiswonderful; I close tonight with a shot taken last weekend, as today we've had a lot of much-needed rain! This is from a path in part of the Forest of Dean, England. One we tried again after a period when it was unavailable due to felling.
A stand of mature trees, growing close together, occupies the left side, their dark trunks contrasting against the bright yellows and oranges of the autumnal leaves both in their branches and beyond. A narrow path runs forward from the right side, disappearing among a plantation of evergreens.
