That's because it is hostile, they openly say that their own countrymen are the enemy if it's people that aren't their idea of "right" and every day the number of people they hate seems to grow faster
I can't think of a faster way to undermine the country than simultaneously firing government workers, cutting scientific research, rolling back protections on public health & environment, & cutting essential services. It's like the US was defeated in war and is being occupied by a hostile enemy.

The global far right is recruiting large numbers of men and women in the 30-65 age bracket. The reason young men stand out in analysis is because young women are the ONLY group moving left.

one thing i've noticed is the hesitancy to call out the cause. e.g. a clinic in w virginia closed and the sign on the door just said "location closed" instead of laying it out like "the trump administration has cut funding for this clinic." we're going to need more people willing to give the reason
