The thing that pissed me off the most about that Pod S*mave America clip the other day was that they presented ‘that something needs to be done about the border’ as an indisputable fact that nobody could possibly disagree with.

I got one the first time he won because of the elevated risk of civil unrest. Now I have six. I've also been advising and training my married trans friends. Nonviolent resistance has value & I honor those who commit to that path, but nonviolence can't survive if it's undefended. It never has.

The “blue state red state” simplification of politics in this country is one of the most dangerous things we could have done in regards to human rights and democracy as a concept in this country.

My trans man friend has a coworker who refuses to use his pronouns. She's insisted she's "traditional" and prefers to "keep to what she knows." He has responded to this by saying things in meetings like "the spinster brings up a valid point" and telling her she needs a chaperone for their meetings.
