Consumer protection groups, why don’t you toot your own horns for once? More than any recent election, the issues on the table this year were consumer issues—landlord/tenant, childcare, mass transit, healthcare, utility costs—especially electricity, rising food prices and so on.

The Democratic Party also serves its corporate masters. Trying to make it seem like it’s just the GOP that does that is nonsense. That’s the kind of incredible statement that loses the Democratic Party voters. You’re full of shit and they know it.

Deadline White House today is absolutely terrible. All about elections. All about horse race. None of it about actual facts. None of it about accountability for the action. All tactic and rhetoric. And the Democratic Party has already proven itself to be completely inept rhetorically.
July 3, 2025 at 9:17 PM
@msnbc.com your focus on 26 is irresponsible. Talking to strategists about an election more than a year away is covering the game… it’s not a game. And those strategist lost two elections to Trump.
Try doing the news and not the horse race

Because the media no longer acts from a place of reporting the truth.
political press is doing a real disservice by basically not reporting the nuances of public opinion on deportations, and creating the appearance that most americans support the stephen miller-style gestapo tactics
Should we deport people who have lived here for many years without committing any crimes? 61% no, 24% yes.

Should we should deport people as quickly as possible even if it means more mistakes, or do our best to make no mistakes even if it takes longer?

Quickly: 19%
Minimize mistakes: 74%

@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com Sen. Schumer is fundamentally out of touch with what’s going on. His flaccid, wrote political analysis is business as usual in unusual times. Trump is at war with the government he runs, to break it…. All of it. Schumer complains as he watches from the side.

People need to be crystal clear about something: The requirement that the government ANSWER to a court on the legal basis for detaining someone is literally the core liberty right (habeas corpus). If the government says they don’t have to do that bc “national security,” YOU can be disappeared.

In 2020, the military was adamant about refusing to get involved in the election. That's why Trump hates General Mark Milley so much. Now, Trump is transforming the military into one that will back him up in 2029. We need to figure out how to prepare for that eventuality.
