I feel like Senator Warren summed up my three reactions with comforting eloquence.

I feel like Senator Warren summed up my three reactions with comforting eloquence.
I've often wondered how people could vote against their own best interests. Sometimes, the FAFO schadenfreude is momentarily soothing. But listening to my favorite talking heads work so hard to disingenuously avoid misogynoir (or sexism or racism individually, pick one!) as a factor is fatiguing.

My husband and I often check in about our gratitude at having been raised by parents who loved us and made sure we knew it.
