Fuck that! I have no interest in giving up rights my mother and grandmothers fought for. I am not property.
I was just made aware that I missed something in this EO. It will also do away with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, which is the law that gave women the right to have their own credit and own property.

Get weird! Be feral!!
We heard the rumors. Maybe president panican will declare martial law, maybe he won’t. But do you think this clown car of incompetent sycophantic signal leakers can keep all 300 million of us down? Absolutely not. We will not comply. Here’s some advice from Oliver Kornetzke. Let’s get weird.

“These are normal, everyday people who are saying I’ve had enough. I’ve seen institutions fall. I’ve seen universities, I’ve seen businesses, I’ve seen law firms not stand up, not support our liberal democracy. So what am I going to do as an individual?”

The complete lack of basic economics is astounding! This is going to hurt so many. The US losing it’s leadership role in the economy will have so many ripple effects throughout the US and globally.
Capital Economics calculates that average tariff rate under this new regime (weighted by import composition) will be the highest in *131 years.*

Millions of you, around the world, have put the lessons I wrote in #OnTyranny in late 2016 to good use. It has been humbling to learn how from courageous and creative dissenters, protestors, and oppositionists. I was honored when John Lithgow volunteered to read them aloud.
Here is my best guidance for action, rendered beautifully by the great John Lithgow. I first published these lessons more than eight years ago, in late 2016. They open the twenty chapters of "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century."

Hugs to all the decent people who have remained Humane throughout this train wreck.

We have strength in our numbers and our voices. They know it. And they are afraid of us.

Let us not disappoint by maintaining our power and preserving our freedom.

They can expect us.

Our self-serving senator is a slavish MAGA coward.

He needs to be reminded and reminded often that he works for us and not his political party or a convicted felon.

#akleg Senator Sullivan is giving his annual address to the legislature this Thursday, March 20th and has refused to hold a town hall or meet with recently fired federal workers while in town.

There will however be an empty chair town hall at the Mendenhall Valley Library.
