"All of the assets in the game is human-made, except for the assets in the game that aren't human-made. Also, our explicitely-stated reason for using AI is to avoid paying artists."
Looks like the article has been updated.

Still don’t love it, why taint your brand at all?
No one needs user generated content for a single player campaign to begin with.

Why are they shootings themselves in the foot!?

Considering how quickly furries were modding their sonas into bomb rush cyberpunk, these devs have no idea what a dedicated fanbase is capable of. There’s no quicker way to kill any hype than implementing gen AI

THIS is why Zohran asked for the meeting.
Q: You have differences when it comes to ICE agents in NYC. How do you reconcile them?

TRUMP: We're gonna work them out. The mayor wants to have a safe New York. We're gonna work together.

A reporter asks if Mamdani stands by calling Trump a fascist. Mamdani starts to give a delicate answer.

Trump (smiles, pats Mamdani's arm): "That's OK, you can just say yes. It's easier. I don't mind."

If we have a kid we are absolutely forbidding Roblox. I know I will inevitably cave on a number of other stupid things all their little friends are doing, but this is a hard line in the sand that no amount of screaming will change.
Oh my god that is the worst possible answer

At a recent gathering of Rogers Park volunteers, we heard from a neighbor who choked up telling us about their dad turning around and going home when he heard whistles up the street. "One of you may have saved his life that day." It all matters, it really does.
One thing that is tough about rapid response/patrols, besides constantly being threatened by armed secret police, is that for the most part they see the defeats. There are exceptions, but you’ll never know how many people were saved by slowing feds down, whistles, community alerts, etc.

man, the *only* positive, relatable quality that trump has is that he has no object permanence, let alone the ability to remember the argument he was making 48 hours prior
Q: would you feel comfortable living in NYC under a Mamdani administration ?

TRUMP: I would. I really would.

one function of capitalism is to funnel these types into positions of power, because if competent & kind people get into power they start taking from the rich and giving to the poor. capitalist leaders must be either evil or ignorant or both, only by mistake does anyone else get near power
What if we could have leaders who aren't either evil monsters or spineless weenies

🧵🧵 I remain opposed to tiny home villages because they’re an expensive, often unsafe interim that more often than not does not lead to permanent housing.

More than 550 incident reports detail assaults, drug use, unsanitary conditions and more across a dozen villages designed to shelter and support unhoused people. LA Public Press obtained reports that ...

Someone on the skyline was briefly talking about this the other day but it didn't really pick up momentum to be the topic du jour

My thing is — someone who was once a girl who had teenage brothers, I don't think this behavior starts at manhood

I think the behavior is allowed from boys too
Im joking but the current topic du jour on the Tickytok to Tweeter pipeline is men weaponizing food, purposely eating food meant for others.

And women chiming in about their parents allowing their brothers to do this as they starved when they were kids was disheartening

HOLY SHIT. They found the genes for fibromyalgia - and it's *not* autoimmune, it's the central nervous system. It's very cool to see some progress made on the thing that's ruined my life since late teenage years!
Medical Republic: 'Fibromyalgia finally gets a genetic fingerprint'

'Additionally, certain risk loci overlapped with long covid (BPTF) and ME/CFS (OLFM4, RABGAP1L/GPR52), two poorly characterised disorders, albeit with different lead variants.'

A massive global study links the chronic pain condition to 26 genes associated with brain signalling, marking a turning point in understanding its biological roots.

collective memory is something you have to work at constantly, and the persistent drumbeat of land acknowledgements is an extremely valuable way to produce widespread consciousness of basic material fact of dispossession and genocide
my wokest opinion is that land acknowledgements are fine. people knowing a little bit about the land you're on, even if one isn't invested in a land back project, is not particularly worse than the status quo, even if one comes by this info in a way that is somewhat cringe and forced
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.
