me, to my kid: you have a job- you eat breakfast, you get dressed, brush your hair and teeth and put on shoes

my kid: I hate my job. I wanna quit.

This cold is disrespectful

I saw an old couple in the supermarket using walkie talkies to communicate with each other from different aisles so you can no longer convince me that we have nothing to learn from previous generations

me: I really need to be more present with my kids

me, 2 hours later: that’s enough

My toddler has been crying for 10 minutes because my husband told her that one day she’ll be grown up, and frankly I get it
