I just finished being on a jury. I really appreciated my fellow jurors and their willingness to be open, honest, and speak out when they didn't agree with the majority.

Someone near us at the bar is talking about their kids work tools, it's all tools I work with... So it's like being at work late. 😭

I am in the airport and I thought I was sitting next to a man having a breakup conversation and then realized this guy is just talking about the future of the country.

I got an email from our energy company comparingour energy usage against other "similar" houses. Based on what I for work I wonder how they categorized my house, even based on similar houses in my zip code.

Let’s be clear—this is bigger than Trump. The Epstein files show how banks, corporations, and even governments looked the other way while children were abused. Survivors deserve justice. We can’t let this cycle repeat.

We inherited a book club recently. We're looking to clean up the process and expand its reach.

What are the rules, procedures that you like or hate?
Best ways to get the word out?

At bar trivia a couple weeks ago I was able to answer the question what does MDF stand for (there was other context too). Thank you #HGTV and @goodjobbrain.bsky.social

“Pushing for municipalities to address one of the most visible byproducts of homelessness…”

Again, it’s about removing visible poverty from the streets and not about finding solutions to our housing affordability and homelessness crisis! You can’t arrest your way out of this crisis, Gavin!

Elon Musk has succeeded in spite of the way he treats others, not because of it.

Belittling is not a leadership strategy—it reflects a lack of self-control. Demeaning doesn't get results—it thwarts productivity.

Disrespect for the status quo can be a virtue. Disrespect for people is a vice.
Opinion | America Is Learning the Wrong Lesson from Elon Musk’s Success

This admin is turning on the firehose hoping you’ll burn out and give up.

But you don’t have to do it all. Do one thing, take one step each day.

Put your phone down. Take a walk. Find the thing that moves you and focus.

If we all find our one thing, we’ll build something better—together.

Emotion regulation is not about controlling what you feel. It's about choosing how you respond.

Wise people don't suppress emotion. They find constructive ways to express it.

Intense feelings don't always demand immediate reactions. They often benefit from deep reflection.

Finding an old photo album from when you were 18-20 (cause digital cameras were not a thing we all just had) brings up some interesting thoughts. Ranging from "damn our hair was cute" to "the how was I that skinny" to "who the fuck was that person and why do I have pictures of them".

Why isn't this getting more attention: JD Vance provoked the Oval Office blow up. He said the words we all know are triggering for Trump. Then he kept going. What is his motive?

Vance and Trump berate Ukraine's Zelenskyy in front of cameras. Musk sets his eyes on a billion-dollar FAA contract. Measles takes its first victim. And a nationwide boycott tries to send a message.

I made this joke in November to my Canadian friend and we both whimpered because it might be possible. Really I'd rather them annex us.
americans who joke about annexing canada need to realize that while canadians really are Nice People, they will not hesitate to fuck you up if you cross them. Sanctioned fistfighting is an integral part of their national sport

When I say I'm "lazy" what I really mean is that I prefer to be efficient. If I have to do a tedious task more than a couple times and can find a way to automate it or make it easier, I will. We all have better things to do.
