People calling for peace, who wish no harm on anyone, risk arrest under the Terrorism Act, while the state terrorists perpetrating genocide are being protected from our free speech.
If the police arrest me for this, it's a direct attack on the expression of opinion: ie on free speech. But the Terrorism Act is so madly oppressive and loosely framed that I have no idea which side of it I'm on. And I suspect it's the same for them.

Dear @UKLabour,

No matter what good you do domestically

For so many of us, it won’t matter one tiny bit

You will forever be the party complicit in genocide.

There is only one way to read Trump’s post today about Epstein - basically a confession.

He’s guilty, he knows he’s guilty, his cult isn’t culting on this, and he’s a cornered rat with no way out other than to plead with people not to care about child sex trafficking.

Any politician who has never flown on the world’s most famous pedophile’s jet should call for a bipartisan committee to investigate — and then release — the Epstein files.

What a way to reach across the aisle.

1. Yesterday, 86 people were arrested in the UK under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action."
They are the opposite of terrorists. They were protesting *against* terrorism. 🧵

Netanyahu has spent the better part of two decades trying to strong arm the United States into an unprovoked war against Iran and finally found a president stupid enough to do it for him. Unbelievable.

The idea that we can "easily" overthrow the regime in Iran is a fantasy of people that have never served. Afghanistan is back in the hands of the Taliban after 20 years of slaughter. Iraq still isn't peaceful. Libya is a war zone that's been in civil war since we dropped bombs. History is screaming!

This is a really hard concept for Westerners to grasp, but here goes;
Disliking someones government is not a valid excuse to blow up their hospitals, starve their people, bomb their wedding parties and burn their kids alive

The most striking thing about this speech is how rarely, in a country that is being tanked by wealth inequality, we hear politicians making it.

35 years of England water privatisation.

Industry controlled by companies with 1,135 criminal convictions.
1trn litres water a year lost in leaks.
Sewage dumped in rivers for 3.62m hrs a year.
£85bn dividends, £70bn+ debt, people fleeced
Last decade, £112m exec bonuses .

Must end privatisation.
Nationalisation is the only way to fix the crisis in the water industry
Despite the damning evidence the government is clinging on to private ownership of water, which has fleeced customers for 36 years.
