USCIS canceled my client’s naturalization oath ceremony. We filed a lawsuit, went to trial, and the judge swore him in right there in the courtroom!

These author episodes from @empirepoduk.bsky.social are a treasure trove! I immensely enjoyed the Orwell and Kipling episodes. I am wondering if the podcast will cover the Bloomsbury group at some point? And Aldous Huxley?
Do check out our @empirepoduk.bsky.social Naipaul episode- I think it's one of our very, very best episodes and the wonderful Ben Moser is just breathtakingly brilliant

Came here to say this, but Jamelle Bouie has this covered. 👇
When the Democratic tent includes candidates like Spanberger and Mamdani, there is no crisis, or fight, for the party. IT’S A COALITION, NOT A POINT ESTIMATE.
i want to repeat this: mamdani and spanberger have run similar campaigns tailored to their respective electorates and it is maddening to watch political journalists attempt to create some broad contrast where none exist
the other thing about this is that there is no reason to pit these candidates against each other? each are good fits for their respective electorates and each shows the value of vigorous campaigns focused on the stated material problems of voters.

Why is it so essential to consider climate in the decision-making process?

Not because it's a separate bucket at the end of a long line of issues we are trying to fix, but because it's NOT.

Climate change + loss of nature are the holes in every other bucket we - incl Gates - care about.

Yeah where the hell is @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social now?
Remember how we just went through a multi-week newscycle where Democrats and liberals were lambasted for their "violent" political rhetoric, which included Fox hosts claiming that only one political party was demonizing their political opponents as evil? And how libs needs to lower the temperature?
Leavitt: "The Democrat Party's main constituency is made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals."

For those of you keeping score, 18-22 year-old students calling for an end to slaughter in Gaza are so racist they need to be expelled or deported, but 24-35 year-olds celebrating Hitler, rape, and, um, racism are just kids being kids so chill.

Also, racism is over so no need for Voting Right Act.

Democrats have no obligation to provide the votes to fund the destruction of our democracy.

If you want my vote for a bipartisan budget, there need to be protections to stop Trump's brazen lawlessness.
