You don't fight tooth and nail to stop an investigation or the displaying of files and photos that courts have ordered shown to the public if you don't have something to hide. There must be things in the Epstein files that scare the hell out of him.

The only one Trump is fooling is himself.

In this segment @rickperlstein.bsky.social reads from a Herman Melville novel, "Redburn," which depicts poor Irish people fleeing the potato famine and the debate in the 1800s over immigration. It's eerily similar to today's disputes. Really remarkable stuff. Highly recommend you listen:
"Stephen Miller comes from a family about which the exact same things were said—because they were Jews from Tsarist Russia—that he now says about Somalian immigrants. It's really disgusting."

Great @rickperlstein.bsky.social segment on immigrants, America, and Herman Melville (discusses my piece):
Stanning Herman Melville on the CBC as my end-of-year "explains it all" book pick was a fave moment of 2025.

Yeah guys, Alex Karp of Palantir is a totally normal guy who just happens to quote several minutes’ worth of a Nazi speech, before doing random tai chi and leaving

Karp is a dangerous, completely unhinged lunatic and it’s made worse by the fact that he’s obviously on coke too
Wait till you read how he was fucking hired

Truss needs an intervention of some sort. She's spouting "globalist" conspiracy theories and that's some really crazy stuff.
Dipped into ep.4 of the Liz Truss Show for no more than a minute (using mirror site that does not boost numbers or revenue yewtu.be/channel/UCpI...). Quite aside from the INSANITY of what she says, camera is focussed on background, not her, THROUGHOUT. And what's up with the candy cane on the books?

Trump delayed the Epstein files just like the lawsuits, and everything else, Muller report etc. that could nail him. We fall for it every damn time. Now, it's planted a seed that his followers will not believe, hoax, AI, etc. We give him too much time to dilute it. Every. Damn. Time.

Russia concocted a false flag about a Ukrainian drone attack on Putin's residence. The purpose of the phone call with Trump today was to convey this "deza" (disinformation). Trump took the bait, hook, line and sinker.

Russia said it will retaliate – a classic Mainila Incident.

The fact is, Vladimir Putin has this hold over Traitor & Betrayer Donald Trump that makes Trump and the American government into basically a de-facto ally of Russia.

Did the United States really spend trillions of dollars on winning the Cold War, only for its president in 2025 take orders from a Russian dictator?

This is an earth-shattering humiliation for America of which its reputation may never recover.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Zelensky: Trump discussed all 20 points of the peace plan with Putin, point by point. And Trump said that Putin is ready.

I told him that it is very problematic for us, this is not the first time that Putin says one thing and does other things. It is important for us that words match actions.

The outrageous sanctioning of EU lawmakers and citizens in order to pressure democratically-elected European governments to change their laws shows just how intent the US government is on controlling Europeans' lives.

We must go into 2026 with eyes open.
The US can destroy a European's life with the swipe of a pen
This week's US sanctions against European lawmakers and privacy activists is a major escalation. And it shows the dangers of Europe relying on American economic infrastructure.

Julie K. Brown is a reporter for the Miami Herald who did groundbreaking work on Epstein beginning in 2018, including groundbreaking work on the disgusting coverup by Alex Acosta.

Her travel itinerary was released with some of the Epstein files. It appears the DOJ was monitoring her in 2019.
