It feels like bad taste to honor a police officer who died by traffic violence to have a 700-vehicle funeral processes clog up the freeways a week later, but this is how we do in San Diego, I guess.

Ireland is adopting a default 30 kmh (19 mph) speed limit in urban areas.
Local authorities to implement 30km/h speed limits in urban areas ‘where appropriate’ from 2027
Speed limits on roads in built-up and urban areas can only be changed where a majority of the elected members in a local authority vote to do so.

Thought I'd taken some really dope photos today (& the last couple of weeks), then realized the camera was on 25, then 26, 27 of a 24 exp roll. Opened it up to find that I hadn't loaded it properly. Now I just have to write poems about all the images I thought I had that now only exist in my head.

Another reminder that a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

ALL ROAD USERS.

And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.

For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.
