To give you an idea of how ridiculous the gerrymandering in Nashville is, here’s our district. They diluted a third of Nashville into a rural area about 50 times as large that extends north to the Kentucky border and about a third of the length of the state to the east.

Really wish Albuquerque had Ranked Choice Instant Runoff voting for our Mayoral election, as the gap between my first and second choices of the six candidates running is narrow, while the gap between them and the rest of the field is vast. If no one clears 50% there's still a runoff, but low turnout

I can't tell you how much it hurts my brain to hear people in their seventies go rabid over the idea of government paid healthcare and become homicidal at the thought of a universal basic income while they enjoy their government paid healthcare and collect their universal basic income.

It’s almost like the tariffs are being implementing in the most asinine way and are counter productive to the economy? Who could have predicted such a thing?!

When Nashville SC defeated Charlotte FC on Saturday, the supporters section lacked its usual verve and had visible gaps throughout the risers.

The reason was explained in a pair of large white banners.

No estamos todos aquí.

We are not all here.

For 250 years, the United States has supported democracy.

Now, in the middle of a horrific war that Putin started, Trump is turning his back on Ukraine and democracy, all to the benefit of a brutal dictator in Moscow.

I’m not sure why this makes me so sad, but it really does. They seemed to manage to navigate around superstardom and have a lasting love despite it. My heart goes out to Dolly and their family.
Carl Dean, an asphalt paver who met his future wife, Dolly Parton, outside a Nashville laundromat more than six decades ago and quietly championed her as she rose to superstardom, died on Monday. He was 82.

Meet Trump's new best friend, Vladimir Putin.

At the heart of Putin’s rule are two forces: corruption & violence.

In Putin's Russia, there is no freedom of speech. Protests are violently suppressed. Dissidents are murdered. And the billionaire oligarchs become even richer.

Putin can’t believe his luck. Here is Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov on Trump: “The new administration is fast changing all foreign policy configurations…This coincides with our vision in many ways.”

Trump now backs dictatorship, not democracy. We cannot allow that to stand.
