Great reporting and why access to public records are so important. Something to think about the next time some politician tries to restrict access for “security purposes” or some other BS. The case has dragged on over a year.

This doesn’t sound like de minimus time and the amount of unpaid time is shocking. Agree with the argument that govt has a role in this; legislate a level playing field.
An NDP private member’s bill would require airlines to pay flight attendants for all hours worked before and after takeoff. The unpaid-work issue was at the heart of a three-day strike that disrupted Canadian air travel this summer.

This whole government feels like a group of hijackers - none of whom are pilots themselves - got control of a plane and are now just having a grand old time flipping knobs and buttons they don’t understand, and are just getting off on the “well they’re our buttons and knobs now” aspect.
