In the US, we have a school superintendent sending out messages to families reassuring them that their kids are probably safe from being snatched by masked agents while on school grounds. When there isn’t an outside enemy, we must attack ourselves.
It’s a week before finals! Give kids (and their parents) a break!

Great reporting and why access to public records are so important. Something to think about the next time some politician tries to restrict access for “security purposes” or some other BS. The case has dragged on over a year.

This doesn’t sound like de minimus time and the amount of unpaid time is shocking. Agree with the argument that govt has a role in this; legislate a level playing field.
An NDP private member’s bill would require airlines to pay flight attendants for all hours worked before and after takeoff. The unpaid-work issue was at the heart of a three-day strike that disrupted Canadian air travel this summer.

Elevance also spent over $880 million buying back its own stock during the quarter. While the numbers vary, the other for-profit healthcare companies in this country are no different. When will Americans wake up to the fact that this doesn't happen in other countries? (2/2)

So, after finally reaching its goal of getting free of the private country club and open to the public, it falls victim to a political agenda? Just another use for that WOKE stamp.

Very good assessment of this No2. His obedient chirping of the meme(?) “illegals are taking…” plays into the real fears of the Trumpets, which is that someone else is getting the same benefits. So, that may mean less for them and, if everyone gets the same, how will they know they’re better?
