When a chatbot gets something wrong, it’s not because it made an error. It’s because on that roll of the dice, it happened to string together a group of words that, when read by a human, represents something false. But it was working entirely as designed. It was supposed to make a sentence & it did.

Estoy en mi 4° año de doctorado y lo que a mí me flipa es que los artículos científicos no sean gratis. Si no fuese porque la universidad tiene convenios y suscripciones yo no podría consultar nada sin pagar. ¿Quieres hacer avanzar la ciencia? Pues paga para ver el estado actual.
No sé si opinión impopular PERO: los libros descatalogados, sobre todo ensayos más que novelas de ficción, DEBERÍAN SER DE DOMINIO PÚBLICO.
Muchos no disponemos de dinero, condiciones de conservación ni de espacio para comprar libros por más de 40 euros cada vez que tenemos que consultar algo.

Es difícil concebir que hasta hace apenas unas décadas teníamos en España nuestra propia casta de “intocables”. La “raza” maldita. Una comunidad víctima de un apartheid silencioso: los Agotes (también llamados cagots o gafos), a los que menciono por encima en mi libro Efemérides... 👇🏼🧶
