In 1968 Finland banned for profit education, the few private schools that exist in Finland have to reinvest any profit they make or pay it back to parents.
It has been in the Top 3 in education for the last 20 years.
There should be no profit in education or healthcare or prisons!

I am sorry that I need to vent. Despite my lack of complexion, I am indigenous and extremely proud to be. Recently a vote went out, it was to remove the blood quantum from registry. So many voted no due to blood purity and seeing post like this makes me really sad

When are we going to admit that Trump, Elon, Gaetz, and others have treated the T2024 like a “get out of jail free” card? Will this inspire a new wave of criminals to seek office just to dodge accountability? Imagine how many past politicians are kicking themselves for not trying this play.

Vance is lying and he knows it.“Deus vult” has never been a “thing” in American Christianity. And I would know. I grew up in fundamentalist and evangelical churches, read Rush Limbaugh’s books as a kid, wanted to be Jay Sekulow when I grew up. This is extreme even in that context.
Deus vult’ began as a rallying cry for the Crusades. More recently, it’s been adopted by the far right. And we’re not even supposed to wonder/ask why it’s tattooed on the arm of the next defense secretary?
