A fog bank hundreds of miles long in California’s Central Valley reappeared every day for a week and was likely to linger into the weekend.

Here’s why “Tule fog” seems to linger:
Why a 400-mile long fog bank lingered over California for a week
Nicknamed “Tule fog” after the tule reeds that grow in the damp foothills, the fog is expected to carry into this weekend.

Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running. This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.

Thing is, we DID hear about it at his confirmation hearing.

Every single senator who voted to confirm Hegseth knew he held these views about the laws of war.

They voted to confirm him anyway.
Everyone should read this terrifying thread about Hegseth’s published views wrt war crimes. It’s pretty fucking radical …. We needed to hear about this in his confirmation hearing.
A chapter in Hegseth’s book is literally titled “More Lethality, Less Lawyers.”

It’s almost as if there were signs!

Donald Trump hates me, and the feeling is mutual.

I believe he is a criminal and an authoritarian who is trying to destroy our democracy and the rule of law. I spend a considerable amount of my time fighting against him and his enablers in court and in public discourse.

Good thread on Trump’s sudden interest in Honduran politics and the tech bro libertarian bullshit behind it.
Wait so there are Peter Thiel-backed landlocked seasteading libertarian cities that the current Honduras govt wants to get rid of that Roger Stone has been advocating for that JOH also supports? And Stone has also been advocating for JOH 's pardon?

Pete Hegseth is a straight-up serial killer

No asterisk, no caveat, he simply orchestrated—multiple times on multiple dates—a criminal conspiracy to murder unarmed persons who the U.S. military code deemed incapacitated and not a threat and then went online and admitted to doing it knowingly
