Again: the Senate Democrats think *creating a record of opposition* is the same thing as *meaningfully enacting change* and that is a serious problem
The problem isn't that they caved for a promised vote; the problem is that the vote will be a meaningless gesture impressing no one but Senate Democrats.

In a year of crazy growth for women's sports choosing a comedian to host the ESPYs who doesn't even try to make clever jokes about women athletes (which he at least attempted for the men) he goes with the hacky "no one knows the WNBA," "Rapinoe is a bad time" & repeatedly insults Black women. COOL.

This is correct. Any candidate cynically “triangulating” on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. There’s still so much time to advance candidates that DON’T suck.
I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
On a recent podcast Gavin Newsom tells Shawn Ryan how the Trans sports issue opened the door for him to change his mind on GAC for Trans Youth.
As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

Robert continues: he says that most people in Livable CA and other NIMBY groups are like him: 60+.
Claims there are many young homeowners out there who he *knows* can't possibly support more density. They need to get those people involved.
