There is this strange mentality that WWE is cool and AEW is nerdy. As if to non-wrestling fans all wrestling isn't geeky as hell! Deciding what you like based on what a 80s teen movie villain would decide is cool or hot doesn't seem like a useful way to go through life.

Adding to this: What makes ONLY WWE & AEW doing worse even weirder is that, historically, the demos that over-index in rasslin' audiences, Black and Hispanic viewers, were generally accepted as being under counted in the old panel only Nielsen methodology. So how does the new way ONLY hurt rasslin?
So is it me or is there a non zero chance that Nielsen was overindexing for wrestling fans because wrestling fans are more likely to have advance knowledge of what Nielsen ratings are and thus be more willing to participate in the Nielsen sample if selected and invited?
