How can we reduce our impact on the planet using the 5 Rs of sustainability, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle?
Alone I can make a small difference.
Together we can be transformational.

Thames Water is a monopoly with 16 million trapped customers. Yet KKR – a predatory private equity firm – doesn't even want to own it.

If public ownership isn't the answer and private investors won't invest, then maybe Steve Reed has no idea what he's doing.

Um no. What’s really expensive is doing nothing.

Climate disasters cost billions—and those costs are rising fast. Climate solutions save money and lives, as well as building a better world for us all 🌏💚

Despite world leaders’ pledge to end deforestation by 2030, tropical forest loss reached record highs in 2024.

Fires were the main cause, overtaking land clearances from agriculture for the first time on record.

See more from my colleagues’ analysis here: 🧪
Fires cause record loss of tropical forests in climate threat
Tropical forests provide a buffer against climate change, but disappeared faster than ever recorded last year.

a) He leads the world's 1.4B Catholics and will have moral sway the way Francis did

Nobody ever planted a tree in this photo. It was a working gravel pit 30 years ago.

We need to get over our obsession with planting trees and let nature do the job. The results are just SO much better.

It's also about realising we are not, in fact, central to everything. 🌍
